Raúl receives Evo Morales

On Thursday evening, Army General Raúl Castro, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, received compañero Evo Morales Ayma, President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, who was making a brief visit to the country.

During the meeting, the two leaders addressed issues of international interest, in particular preparations for the upcoming Group of 77 Summit, scheduled to take place in Bolivia, this coming June. They reaffirmed the excellent development of bilateral ties and discussed measures to be taken to continue strengthening the relationship.

Also participating were David Choquehuanca and Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, ministers of foreign relations for Bolivia and Cuba, respectively.
